Wednesday blessings...

Oh my goodness...it's Wednesday. The days are passing by so quickly(I know I say this all the time), that I have to stop and think about what happened the day before. I'm having major trouble keeping up as this week remains full of stuff to do. And it's not all fun stuff either. The fun stuff starts on Friday when my parents get here....yeeeeeehaaaw!! We will grill out, visit the orchards for some peaches and nectarines, do some fishing, and make some homemade ice cream. If we're lucky, we'll also get to see a nearby fireworks display. So, now that you know our plans for the 4th, I'll get on with my wealthy Wednesday post...
  1. MY PARENTS - I'm so blessed to have both my parents, still alive...and still married to one another.
  2. FREEDOM - I take it for granted sometimes, but truly thankful for the opportunity to live the life that so many others have sacrificed theirs for.
  3. USA - I wouldn't want to live in any other country.
  4. READING GLASSES - I'm nearsighted and wear contact lenses to correct my vision, but as I get older, I can't see a darned thing up close, without 'readers'!
  5. PRAYER - We should pray without ceasing! I am so guilty of NOT doing this, but I rely on prayer more often than 'not'. It's a powerful constant in my life.

In closing today, I'm asking for your prayers for a very special friend of mine. Rhonda is scheduled to have back surgery today at 1pm. She has several ruptured discs, and has been in excruciating pain for 2 months. I pray that this procedure will be succesful and eliminate her pain, altogether. Til next time, blessings to all!
