Hi friends! I'm back home in central Virginia where we are awaiting a major snowstorm. Six inches or more of snow is expected to fall overnight. I'm sure all the kids in this area are praying for the 'more' part. As for me, my feelings wouldn't be hurt a bit, if the weatherman is WRONG!
My trip home, to see family was good. I miss them already. I did not , however get to see my niece, who is expecting her first child, in May. She happens to live another 2 hours from where I was visiting and did not get to make the trip up to see me. I was disappointed, of course, as I have not seen her since Thanksgiving. I'm excited that she is expecting and there will be another baby in the fam, for the first time in nearly 17 years! I think babies have a way of keeping us young, at heart, and renewing your hope and faith in hard times.
As for my health, I made out pretty well while away. I never do seem to sleep well, when I'm away from home. And thermastats and temperatures are always an issue when I visit, because I'm forever BURNING UP!! This is one hot mama, 24/7...its a side effect from two of my medicines. Medicines that work well for me, other than the increased sweating, so this is why I have to 'live with' the perspiration problems.
I'm not 'paying' for going out of town today. Most of the time, it takes me a day or two, to get over my extra cirriculum activities...but so far, so good. I am richly blessed, indeed. And looking forward to the next trip, which will come at Easter.
