And we did indeed, pull it off...the North Carolina Tarheels proved last night, that they are the best in college basketball. They are the 2009 NCAA champions!!
In other news...gosh I sound like a news anchor here...my head is spinning from all the fires I have irons in. Got so much going on at one time, I can hardly 'wrap my head around it'. (and I've got a BIG head) Lets see... there's Easter in a few days, and yes, I'm going home for several days to Carolina! I'm excited to visit at this time of year...one of the reasons being, that my parents' garden center will be freshly overflowing with trees, shrubs, and flowers of many varieties and colors. I love to meander through and soak up the beauty and the fragrances. What more could I ask for than to spend days combined with two of my biggest loves...family and flowers!?!
So, while I'm getting prepared for the big visit, I'm also making a huge sign (45"x 16") for the garden center's seed room. This little 'work of art' is kicking my tail, 'cause it's the biggest sign I've been challenged with so far. There's also a birdhouse request, for the ride down with me.(thank you cuz!) Oh, and I cannot forget the baby shower we're planning for my niece, thats taking place in a few weeks. I'm thrilled to play a role in the planning of this event and can hardly wait til that 'lil booger arrives!! And, my sweet 'sister'...if you're reading this, I know you're just as excited as I am about our visit...only 5 more days til I'm walking on the same earth that you are, and our time together will be merely hours away. It's been way too long since our last get together and we've got major catching up to do!
As you can see, I'm as busy as a bee. So, I'll get back to doing what I do best...creating. And until we meet again, blessings!
