The 'Re' season...

The birdfeeders were busy yesterday. I caught these 'uninvited' guests trying to crash the party!
Our beautiful state bird was found feeding underneath a feeder.

Toby let me know that this turkey was lurking about our garden. We don't see too many of these on our property.

It was rather hard getting a good pic of this nuthatch. He doesn't stay in one place very long.

This little guy has made himself at home here. When he's not feeding at the feeders, you can spot him (or hear him) pecking about closeby.

This little varmit (and all of his gang members) terrorize the bird'hood'. I have to admit, they outsmart me alot!

One little sparrow...two little sparrow...three little sparrow, ...could we have a traffic jam??

One lone crow...I couldn't help but notice he's like half the size of the feeder!! These birds are huge...and this ain't even Texas!!
So, I took a small hiatus from blogging. Not that I don't enjoy it...I do, very much so. It's just that time of the year where I feel like I need to be doing more stuff. And its alot of stuff that needs doing! I had planned on posting, or at least, trying to post, on a daily basis, when I started this journal. That just may have to change, now that the weather will be breaking. I'll have flowers to plant, a garden to sow, and if I can still manage it(I hope I can still do this), lots of mowing to do. I will also keep my birds, in seed and the hummingbirds, in juice. And, I'll continue to have the normal, daily things to do, plus...try to create. It's an extra load of stuff, but it's all stuff I enjoy. It will take away from my time on the computer, though. If I see that the daily thing is going by the wayside, then I'll try to post twice a week, maybe. And some days, I may post pics and not thoughts. Hey...everybody loves pictures, right?
I am having pretty good days at the present time, and I have learned to take advantage of those 'pretty good days'. (Thank you God!) Take a mental note, from one who knows...if you are healthy and able to do so...get out and enjoy springtime. Spring is a magical season. I call it the "Re" season...a time for Renewal, Rebirths, Regrowth...and, it's 're'markably awesome to witness the gorgeous changes all around us. So...get out there! Enjoy! And til next time, blessings!
